A charming vintage brass vessel with a footed base, swing handle and delicate engraved floral decoration. The gently rounded form and wonderfully irregular handle give it the character of an old utilitarian piece that has become something much more decorative with age.
We love it as a cachepot for a small plant, filled with dried flowers, holding kindling beside the hearth, or simply styled empty on a shelf or tabletop. The aged brass has developed a warm, mellow finish that makes the engraved detailing especially pretty.
Vintage condition with natural patina, small marks and signs of use consistent with age. Decorative use recommended.
